Enough for two, this banana and mango fruit smoothie recipe is quick and filling. Perfect for breakfast or as a snack, it’s bound to be popular with everyone.
Preparation time: 5 minutes
- 1 large banana
- 1/2 Mango
- 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
- 2 tablespoons low-fat vanilla yogurt
- 2 teaspoons peanut butter
- 3 ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon flax seed
- 2 teaspoons unflavoured whey powder
Peel the mango and remove the stone from the middle. Halve and add to the blender with the ice. Add the banana, yogurt, peanut butter, and milk before blending for 45 – 60 seconds until all the lumps are gone. Pour into glasses and serve.
