Ingredients

  • 1 cup blackberries
  • Juice of 1/2 lemon
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter
  • 3 ice cubes

Optional

  • 1 teaspoon flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon honey

How to make blackberry and lemon fruit smoothies

Squeeze the juice from 1/2 lemon. Add the ice to the blender (you can blend this separately if you like) and then add the other ingredients, including any of the optional items you like. Blend for around 45 to 60 seconds until smooth, pour, and serve.
