Peach and Almond Fruit Smoothie

A fruit smoothie made from peach and almond. Preparation will take about 10 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 10 raw almonds
  • 1 peach
  • 1 medium banana
  • 250 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • 2 tablespoons low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 3 ice cubes

Optional

  • 1 teaspoon flax seed
  • 1 teaspoon peanut butter

How to make peach and almond fruit smoothies

Preparation is a little more involved with this fruit smoothie. Add the almonds and the milk to the blender and blend until smooth. Some people prefer to filter the pulp out at this point (I leave it in). Remove the stone from the peach. You can leave the skin on if you like. After that, add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth. Pour and serve.
